On Friday, March 14, former Shawnee Heights High School standout Chase Carson’s current college team, the Charlotte 49ers, lost 11-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UNC Wilmington Seahawks.

The game took place at Bill Brooks Field. This was their first matchup against the Seahawks this season.

The 49ers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 2 p.m. at Bill Brooks Field against UNC Wilmington Seahawks.
