Saturday, March 22: Washburn Rural High School standout Emmerson Cope’s college team wins to Minnesota Golden Gophers

On Saturday, March 22, former Washburn Rural High School standout Emmerson Cope’s current college team, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, won 8-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

The game took place at Bowlin Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Golden Gophers this season.

The Cornhuskers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 23 at 12 p.m. at Bowlin Stadium against Minnesota Golden Gophers.
