On Sunday, March 16, former Washburn Rural High School standouts Anthony Taggart and Carson Rosen’s current college team, the Missouri Western Griffons, lost 13-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Newman Jets.

The game took place at McCarthy Field. This was their third matchup against the Jets this season.

The Griffons’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 3 p.m. at Glennen Field against Emporia State Hornets.
