Sunday, March 2: Silver Lake High School standout Taryn Burkhardt’s college team loses to Augustana Vikings

On Sunday, March 2, former Silver Lake High School standout Taryn Burkhardt’s current college team, the Emporia State Hornets, lost 9-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Augustana Vikings.

The game took place at Mid-America Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Vikings this season.

The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 2 p.m. at RCB Bank Sports Complex against Rogers State Hillcats.
