Friday, Jan. 31: Washburn Rural High School standout McKenna Schuler’s college team loses to West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats

On Friday, Jan. 31, former Washburn Rural High School standout McKenna Schuler’s current college team, the Converse Valkyries, lost 4-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the West Virginia Wesleyan Bobcats.

The game took place at Tyger River Park. This was their first matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Valkyries’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. at Tyger River Park against Glenville State Pioneers.
