On Friday, March 28, three former Silver Lake High School standouts, including Avery Wende, Ellington Hogle and McKinley Kruger’s current college team, the Washburn Ichabods, won 3-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Fort Hays State Tigers.

The game took place at Gahnstrom Field. This was their second matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Ichabods’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 4 p.m. at Gahnstrom Field against Central Missouri Jennies.
