On Saturday, March 22, three former Silver Lake High School standouts, including Avery Wende, Ellington Hogle and McKinley Kruger’s current college team, the Washburn Ichabods, lost 12-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Pittsburg State Gorillas.

The game took place at PSU Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Gorillas this season.

The Ichabods’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 4 p.m. at Gahnstrom Field against Fort Hays State Tigers.
