On Saturday, March 15, former Washburn Rural High School standouts Anthony Taggart and Carson Rosen’s current college team, the Missouri Western Griffons, won 12-8 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Newman Jets.

The game took place at McCarthy Field. This was their second matchup against the Jets this season.

The Griffons’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 1 p.m. at McCarthy Field against Newman Jets.
