On Tuesday, March 4, former Hayden High School standouts Andrew Schmidtlein and Konnor Becker’s current college team, the Washburn Ichabods, won 13-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the William Jewell Cardinals.

The game took place at Talley Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Ichabods’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 3 p.m. at Bearcat Baseball Field against Northwest Missouri State Bearcats.
