On Monday, Feb. 24, three former Silver Lake High School standouts, including Avery Wende, Ellington Hogle and McKinley Kruger’s current college team, the Washburn Ichabods, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles.

The game took place at Gahnstrom Field. This was their first matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Ichabods’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 12 p.m. at Gahnstrom Field against Wayne State Wildcats.
