On Saturday, Feb. 1, three former Silver Lake High School standouts, including Avery Wende, Ellington Hogle and McKinley Kruger’s current college team, the Washburn Ichabods, won 10-7 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Mississippi Choctaws.

The game took place at Broussard Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Choctaws this season.

The Ichabods’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. at Broussard Sports Complex against Southern Arkansas Lady Muleriders.
