Kansas Undergraduate Research Day showcases undergraduate students who are participating in research with faculty members at Kansas Board of Regents universities. This year’s event will host more than 30 undergraduate researchers presenting on topics such as education, ecology, technology and economics. The video presentations will be posted at 8 a.m. March 1 and will be available for the public to view, comment and post questions until March 8. The presenters will respond to audience interactions within this time frame.
Recent Washburn graduate Jossie Hicks' will participate this year with her presentation, “Students’ Perceptions of University Healthcare Centers.”
“Kansas Undergraduate Research Day brings together college students from around the state and state leaders to highlight issues of importance and interest to all of us. Like last year, this year’s event will be virtual, but we look forward to bringing the event back to the Capitol when Washburn University organizes it next year,” said Lindsey Ibanez, assistant director of the Center for Scholarly and Creative Projects, which coordinates Washburn’s participation in Undergraduate Research Day.
