City of Holton staff have been notified by our payment gateway provider, Forte, that they will be increasing their fee to process online payments. If you use our online platform, a credit/debit payment will increase $0.05 to $9.05 per transaction. If you have a payment taken directly from your back account, the fee will increase from $1.50 to $2.00 per transaction. This price increase will be effective on October 1, 2022.
As always, if you would like to have the City do a direct debit payment, there is no fee for that. These payments are deducted between the 5th and the 9th of the month and do not cost the customer anything. Forms are available in the document center under Authorization for Direct Payment (ACH Debit) of Utility Account.
