Understanding the Kansas Open Meetings Act (KOMA) and Kansas Open Records Act (KORA) is critical for elected and appointed officials. These laws, and the public, expect that local governments will operate within the KOMA/KORA requirements and maintain openness in government.
With so many new folks entering public service or new roles, this is a great opportunity to learn about KOMA/KORA for the first time or get a refresher. All participants will receive both of the League's KOMA and KORA manuals.
