Savage, Robbins named HyVee/Washburn Student-Athletes of the Week

Cale Savage started all three games last week and hit .462 with a .769 slugging percentage while recording a home run, double, four runs scored, and six RBI. In the 10-5 non-conference victory over Missouri Western, he was 2-4 with a walk, three RBI, and one run scored. In the series opener against Newman, Savage hit a solo home run and an RBI-double to help the Ichabods in the 3-2 win.

Paige Robbins led the Ichabod offense last week batting .455 with 10 hits, two triples, three RBI, and seven runs scored. In the 9-2 win over Bridgeport, Robbins was 2-5 with two triples, two RBI, and scored one run. Against Saint Anselm, Robbins was 2-4 with two runs scored in the 12-1 run-rule victory.
