 Topeka, Kan. – The Washburn University department of music will perform the annual Holiday Vespers Concert Dec. 11 in White Concert Hall. This event is free and open to the public.

      When: 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11

      Where: White Concert Hall on the Washburn University campus

      Details: The Washburn University Vespers Concert is an afternoon of traditional holiday music. Attendees will hear featured ensembles like the Washburn choir, Washburn singers, percussion ensemble, string orchestra, jazz band, wind ensemble and the symphony orchestra. Several faculty members will be featured as soloists and the concert will close with a traditional carol sing-along. 

     KTWU will film the performance and broadcast it 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18 on KTWU.
