On Saturday, Nov. 22, former Highland Park High School standout Jamon Wilson’s current collegiate team the Pittsburg State Gorillas won 21-17 against the Chadron State Eagles in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

The game took place at Carnie Smith Stadium at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Chadron State Eagles in the tournament.

The Pittsburg State Gorillas’ next game will take place on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 1 p.m. at First Security Stadium.
