Dan Hawkins, Speaker of the Kansas House of Representatives, used his social media platform this week to address several key issues facing Kansas, including legislative action on women’s safety and privacy, state response to wildfires, and new measures aimed at protecting vulnerable Kansans from financial fraud.

On February 18, Hawkins commented on a recent legislative debate regarding protections for women and girls in Kansas.
