On Friday, March 14, former Washburn Rural High School standouts Anthony Taggart and Carson Rosen’s current college team, the Missouri Western Griffons, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Newman Jets.
The game took place at McCarthy Field. This was their first matchup against the Jets this season.
The Griffons’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 1 p.m. at McCarthy Field against Newman Jets.
