On Sunday, March 23, former Hayden High School standouts Andrew Schmidtlein and Konnor Becker’s current college team, the Washburn Ichabods, won 19-18 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Missouri Western Griffons.
The game took place at Falley Field. This was their third matchup against the Griffons this season.
The Ichabods’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 3 p.m. at Crane Stadium at Tompkins Field against Central Missouri Mules.
